Still no news.always the same white screen that lasts forever in some modes and the garbage-full desktop in others.now I'm using a patched dsdt for 3xxx bioses and p8h mobos. So, to sum up, nothing changed between using dsdt and not using it. Some AtiConfigs 'work' while some other don't.by 'work' I mean that after some time I get into what clearly is the desktop and the computer responds to input - however the screen is covered in garbage and the only thing that looks perfectly ok is the mouse cursor.
